Cat Camp Packing List

The Cat Camp packing list will provide information about the necessities that will need to bring with you for the Cat Camp program you will be attending. Additional information about packing necessities will be sent to you two weeks prior to the start of the Cat Cat session you are registered for. 

You are welcome to bring as much as you need to feel comfortable during the program. 

What do I bring to Cat Camp?

We are so excited that you will be joining us for Cat Camp this summer! Here are some key things to make sure that you bring with you to ensure you have a comfortable Cat Camp experience:

  • Hand Soap
  • Standard twin bed linens
    • A sleeping bag can also work
  • Pillow
  • Warm blanket
  • Closed-toed shoes (required for camp activities) 
    • Crocs, slides, and sandals may be worn when in the residence hall but not for any large camp activities
  • Shower shoes
  • Shower caddy
  • Toiletries (ex. soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.)
    • Toilet paper will be provided 
  • Prescribed or OTC medication (for personal use)
    • Cat Camp is not able to provide medication to students, so bring any OTC medications you think you may need just in case. 
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug spray
  • Swimsuit and beach towel
  • Hat
  • Sunglasses
  • Reusable water bottle
    • Cat Camp will not provide water bottles to students. It is recommended that you bring your own bottle to refill throughout the program. 
  • Cool, comfortable clothes suitable for the Texas summer heat
    • We will provide two shirts for you to wear during specific parts of the program. 
  • Snacks
    • this includes things like chips, granola bars, energy drinks, water, etc.
